Nikola Jokic is one of the most likable superstars in the NBA, and it shows not only on the court but also off it. The two-time MVP recently changed his fashion style to more closely resemble the elegance with which he plays every night. In addition to the fantastic performances he provides, the Denver Nuggets center receives positive reviews from the fashion world. Dress well, to feel good, and play well seems to be Jokic’s main motto these days.

“Now I’m 27-28 years old, maybe I wanted to look more serious.” Jokic admitted with his 28th birthday approaching.

The way of dressing as a brand

In addition to the fact that a person feels better when he is well-trained and takes care of himself, many advantages can arise from this; at least, that is what the 27-year-old center notes. Although we shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, sometimes it happens that we make prejudices exclusively related to appearance. And Jokic wants to make his appearance more representative and recognizable.

“People perceive you differently, people approach you differently. At the end of the day, maybe a more serious sponsorship contract will come, just because of your appearance and just because you look professional and represent yourself in the right way. I think it’s a nice change in my life. “Jokic stated in his interview with Arena Sport TV “The way you come to the game helps both with the brand and with you, especially since I have already won the award (MVP) twice.”

Dress for success

The Joker takes the famous saying “Dress for success” very seriously. And this is shown by the fact that he recently reflected on the style of clothing of most players in today’s league. Jokic claims that the players are dressed inappropriately and that his style represents that he came to work no different from a “regular” job. This level of seriousness and professionalism is also felt in how he plays.

Nikola Jokic is also leading the MVP race, averaging astonishing 24.9 points, grabbing 11.4 rebounds, dishing out 10.1 assists, and doing it while shooting an incredibly efficient 62.8% from the floor. Jokic is currently on pace to win his 3rd consecutive MVP, putting him in elite company with greats like Larry Bird, Bill Russell, and Wilt Chamberlain.
